Sometimes the UI freezes entirely

Description

Hint: The secondary event loop in the UI thread takes <1ms each tick, so I do not think the problem lies here.

We suspect some performance issues in QML. Need traces.

I think the problem is with Qt5. If I build kazv with Qt6 it no longer freezes.
